The Emergency Response Guide (ERG) has become a staple in the Property Management & Construction Department's Emergency Response Program. The content included is designed to provide us with reasonable guidelines to assist with a variety of emergency events.
With this release of our 3rd edition of the ERG, it is apparent that the world we live in is ever changing and preparation is critical. Emergencies are often unpredictable, situations evolve quickly, and our ability to respond is key. Now, more than ever, it is essential that we heighten our sense of awareness.
From the first-hand knowledge we develop from incident such as fires and elevator entrapments, to the evolution of communication standards during Tabletop Exercises (e.g., ILSAA), this version of the ERG has over five (5) new sections and countless enhancements, which were derived from the collective experiences of our team.
In keeping with our existing ERG tracking system, a control number has been placed on the back cover, which will be associated with each individual who receives a copy. You are responsible for your copy.
